Indonesia: Sumatra Berastagi

Berastagi (also called Brastagi) is the city in North Sumatra. I saw people polite and friendly. 
The town is located near 2 volcanos Gunung Sibayak  and Gunung Sibuyan. Many people spend time only going to volcano, but there are very nice local villages near the town. Karo people there still keep traditional life.

Old batak house in traditional Karo architecture with wooden scaffold in the village called Dokan. In front of the house, at the right of the picture you can see old man elder. Locals claimned he was at that time 86 years old.
