The Palace of Mysore also known as Amba Vilas Palace. It is the official residence of the Wodeyars - the Maharajas of Mysore, which was the former royal family of Mysore. They ruled the state of Mysore from 1399 to 1950.
Mysore is also called "city of palaces" as there are about 7 palaces.
Lalbagh Botanical Gardens in Balgalore. Foundation of this botanical gardens was laid down in 18th century. Gardens boast a rich collection of almost 1000 different species of flora.
Shiva at Kempfort Shiva temple in Bangalore. The temple has a massive monolith of Lord Shiva. Shiva is in the middle of an artificial pool. There is also a cave-like walkthrough behind the statue. The Shiva statue is around 20 meters (65ft) high and is considered to be one of the highest in India.
The background is made to resemble Kailas mountain and give a feeling like in Himalaya. River Ganga flows from the head of Shiva. At night the Majestic Shiva statue shines spectaculary in the bright light. There is often is relaxing music being played, and if you find a place to sit, it is great for a relax or praying.
