Few old pictures from Kalahari (Kgalagadi). They were destroyed, but happened to save them a bit.

A semi-desert, with huge tracts of excellent grazing after good rains, the Kalahari supports more animals and plants than a true desert. for comparison – France is 644,000 square kilometres large, German 350,000 square kilometres or Texas 1500 sq km (600 sq mi.)
